THE SHEPHERD’S CORNER

Psalm 2

What's your inheritance?

We all hope we get a good warisan, don't we? That's really not the most important thing, but at the same time, it's nice when we get an inheritance. If we could ask for and get any inheritance, what would you ask for?

God says to ask for nations.

Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession. (Psalm 2:8)

While we see prophetic statements like this pointing to the Messiah, we also hear echoes throughout the Scriptures that part of our inheritance is also impacting nations.

Matthew 28 - Jesus says to go into all the world and make disciples of all ethnic groups - all nations.

What if we stepped back for a second and thought of the warisan God wants us to inherit. What is part of our inheritance of the Kingdom of God and eternal life that we can experience here, now, is to impact peoples and nations?

Wouldn't that be an amazing inheritance?
