Our God commanded us to be holy like Him, in Leviticus 19:2 God said:”You shall be holy, For I am holy.” When God asked all His people to be holy, He did not just give an order to them. If God only give a command to us must be holy without provide us a way, we will be in despair.

However, God has provided us a way by sending Jesus Christ to redeem and regenerate us. Jesus has put his own heredity of holiness into us, so we are able to see what God means when He says that we have to be holy.

Jesus Christ delivered us from the heredity of sin and put into us His holiness. His obedience to die on the cross had made righteous all who believe in Him (Romans 5:19) In addition, God has given us a new nature into us through which we can live a totally new life. He puts a new heart and new spirit (His Spirit) within us so we are able to obey His laws and do whatever He commands.  (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

Apostle Paul insisted the congregation he ministered, to have a full of knowledge of Christ.” ….until Christ is formed in you” (Galatians 4:19). He wanted them to attain the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. He desired them to have a unity of faith, to live in holiness and  to be mature in Christ.  Paul has proved it in his life that he had the fullness of Christ: “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me….” (Galatians 2:20)

Let us follow the example of Apostle Paul, first we aware the need of God’s redemption in our lives. Second, we accept and let Holy Spirit transform and work in us daily. Third, we discipline ourselves to know him until we get the full of knowledge of Christ.
